Real Quick

This is all your getting in the way of a blog tonight because to say I’m tired would be the most ridiculous understatement of the month.

I’m just getting in from a fundraiser for Outfest. Hillary Swank spoke.

I heard from two of my military buddies tonight– one who’s still in (fighter pilot) and one who’s out (training personnel USMC). I’m always glad to hear from my brothers and sisters. Even when what they have to tell me is frightening or sad. I figure as long as they’re still talking, that’s a good thing.

I’m going to sleep in tomorrow which for me will probably be around 7. I was up at 4 this morning and 3 yesterday. I need to get back on track with the writing. I also have to sort out all this business about moving back to LA (or not) or living in both cities (and how that can happen with my fur babies). God needs to get busy sending me some signals and some cash to make it happen. I love my Alabama peeps but I don’t want to live there anymore. I had enough of it before I left the first time.

I said goodbye to the cameraman tonight. It didn’t work out. I hate how I give my heart away so completely and so quickly. There were too many similarities between him and Adam. I lived that shit for eight years already. I’ll be goddamned if I’m going to do it again.

Okay, I’ll blog when I first get up tomorrow so maybe it will be more interesting to read. Thanks for hanging in with me. It is making a huge difference in my life. Although at times the appearance is that my life is falling apart more, I really do believe that God hears me each morning when I pray: “God I offer myself to thee to build with me and do with me as thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do thy will and take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do your will always, Amen.” So if that’s true, I’m not really in charge anyway. God is. So if it all goes to shit, don’t blame me. I’d turned it over.
